Smile Tutorial: Installing XFCE on OpenBSD 4.8

Hi,

Following my previous tutorial about how to install Gnome on OpenBSD, here is another tutorial about how to install XFCE on the latest OpenBSD (4.8 at the time I wrote it).

This tutorial aims to be as complete, precise and readable as possible. I try to include all the necessary steps so that someone without a good knowledge of BSD systems can follow the tutorial. It is quite similar to the tutorial for Gnome, but some steps involve different commands and modifications.

You are welcome to try it, and report any problem and suggestions.

The tutorial can be found here:
http://www.gabsoftware.com/tips/tuto...n-openbsd-4-8/

Best regards,

Gabriel Hautclocq

How can you install XFCE on Gnome? I thought that the last version of Gnome was 3 something. Do you have a time machine or your know somebody from the core team who gave you code for Gnome 4.8?

Joking aside fix the title of your post

I corrected the title, however it still shows as Gnome instead of OpenBSD in the thread list. If a moderator read this, it'll be nice to help me to correct this
