It seems this will also be happening eventually in the OpenBSD camp, I believe that NSD and Unbound will be the favoured alternative.
I remember reading that the future of BIND, version 10, will be rewritten almost entirely in C++/Python instead of just C.. this is something I don't believe that many people are fond of. |
