Default NetBSD 4.0 upgrade and pkgsrc

Hi all,

I just downloaded the 4.0 iso and burnt to disc with the intention of upgrading my current 3.1 installation using the upgrade option on the disc.

Everything seemed to go ok - apache started (in ssl) and I was able to use my dokuwiki installation without any problems. Subversion seems to be working fine.

However, I tried to do a cvs update on my /usr/pkgsrc folder and I get an error:

Code:
Shared object "libkrb.so.6" not found
I ran a find on the system and it seems that it doesn't exist on the system. Any ideas?

Since I posted this onto bsdforums.org, I have done further investigations. I managed to get csup (based on instructions from here) running. I like this method for pkgsrc management. However I would still like to understand how to fix CVS.

Any information or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Troy

Rebuild the cvs port and install it? Linked against a lost library I would guess.

Thanks Kerrnel.

I have already rebuilt the unit and am in the process of reconfiguring apache.

Cheers,
Troy

I'm getting a string of IPv6 adresses when the pkg_add tries to connect. the directory comes up as unknown.

commands used:
PATH="/usr/pkg/sbin:$PATH"
PKG_PATH="ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/pkgsrc/packages/NetBSD-4.0/i386/All/"
export PATH PKG_PATH

I'm now behind a router, if that helps.
Edit: fixed most problems
