Default pkgin pkgsrc pkg_add errors

NetBSD 7.0

After installation I installed WindowMaker and Firefox with pkgin. The other day I tried to install and get this:

Code:
# pkgin in thttpd
...
...
proceed ? [Y/n]
downloading packages ...
installing packages ...
installing thttpd-2.26...
pkg_install warnings: 0, errors: 1
pkg_install error log can be found in /var/db/pkgin/pkg_install-err.log
reading local summary...
processing local summary...
updating database: 100%
no such installed package thttpd
Code:
# cat /var/db/pkgin/pkg_install-err.log
---Oct 31 12:43:42: installing thttpd-2.26...
shift: can't shift that many
pkg_add: install script returned error status
pkg_add: 1 package addition failed
For pkgsrc:
Code:
# cd /usr/pkgsrc/lang/rexx-regina
# make install clean
usage: shlib-type libformat binpath
make: "sh /usr/pkgsrc/lang/rexx-regina/../../mk/scripts/shlib-type
ELF/a.out /usr/pkg/sbin/pkg_info" returned non-zero status
usage: list-dependencies bootstrap_depends tool_depends build_depends depends
===> Checking for vulnerabilities in rexx-regina-3.0.1nb1
=> Fetching regina301.zip
*** Error code 1

Stop.
make: stopped in /usr/pkgsrc/lang/rexx-regina
#
Any ideas before I reinstall the system?

I'm not sure what happen when the partition is almost full. You need space for download, space for extraction and copying the files.

Space was the first thing I checked and I have 200G free. The strange thing is after it downloads the packages I can install them using
Code:
# pkg_add -I <package>

In this case have you tried 'pkgin update'?

To me, it looks like there is something wrong with your shell sh. Can you investigate?

Code:
shift: can't shift that many
Code:
sh /usr/pkgsrc/lang/rexx-regina/../../mk/scripts/shlib-type ELF/a.out /usr/pkg/sbin/pkg_info" returned non-zero status
Also, can you run manually:

Code:
/usr/pkgsrc/mk/scripts/shlib-type ELF/a.out /usr/pkg/sbin/pkg_info
and

Code:
sh /usr/pkgsrc/mk/scripts/shlib-type ELF/a.out /usr/pkg/sbin/pkg_info
The script /usr/pkgsrc/mk/scripts/shlib-type is very simple. Can you figure out why it returns 1 for your?

Code:
# /usr/pkgsrc/mk/scripts/shlib-type ELF/a.out /usr/pkg/sbin/pkg_info
ELF

# sh /usr/pkgsrc/mk/scripts/shlib-type ELF/a.out /usr/pkg/sbin/pkg_info
usage: shlib-type libformat binpath
I'm not sure what happened, because nothing was done. It just one day started doing this.

I was having several problems with pkgin and pkg_add last few days, something that had to do with running ELF binaries and probably dbus, but yesterday I did 'pkgin fug' (full upgrade) and the problem was gone. May be this could help in this case as well?

... At one day, your shell /bin/sh became fucked up. Can you reinstall it?
