Default Boot i386, install amd64
Can I boot from a i386 pendrive and install amd64 via web?

My understanding is that the 32 bit boot loader is copied from the install media and you will need a 64bit bootloader.

what about if I boot 6.0 and install 6.1 via network?

It seems to me like the same would apply here, it might be best if you just download the
new 6.1 and install that.

I actually did, but since I already had a i386 pendrive I wanted to do an experiment, that's why I asked. Didn't have time though
