suddenly no applications reach internet, but ping does so.
All is in the title : internet isn't reacheable anymore on my pc,
whereas the cable IS plugged, and ping successes. What's going on ? What can I do to know more about where it blocks ? Mehdi |

I'm tempted to remind people that we never know where the next developer will come from...
I certainly wouldn't be if not for the help I got when first starting out, and every step along the way. (Even as I realize I'm often not the best person to give help.) |

If domain name does not ping, double check your /etc/resolv.conf and make sure there is at least one valid nameserver entry. If DNS is working, then double check default gateway. Try with pf turned off ( pfctl -d ) |
