Default #portsnap fetch update (4342 updates!?)

I normally update ports tree once or twice a week manually. This morning I was surprised to see total of update of "4342 updates", I rarely see more than 300 - 400. Currently running version 8. Should I be concerned?

thanks
hatcreek

The jpeg port was updated, which included a new library version, so the revision number of a lot of ports that use jpeg were bumped. Hence, the large number of updates to the tree.

...and read /usr/ports/UPDATING because there are problems with QT3 update and you can have a big mess.
