Is this a clean install or an upgrade from 4.1?

I Deinstalled old (4.1) KDE4 with pkg_deinstall -rv /var/db/pkg/kde*

Was that wise thing to do?

You'll probably have to do the install piecemeal, instead of using the kde4 meta-port. I ran into similar errors when I tried the upgrade from 4.1.

Try installing/upgrading in the following order:
textproc/soprano
deskutils/strigi
x11/kdelibs4
x11/kdebase4

That should get things working.
