Default USB icon on Gnome

i'm using freebsd 7.0 release
when I mount a cdrom manually (mount /cdrom) in Gnome appears an icon associated to the cdrom drive, and I can double-click it to open the content.
I learned how to mount an USB stick by manually typing mount_msdosfs /dev/da0s1 /mymountpoint
So, how can I make appear an icon for the USB ?

thanks!
