Maybe this helps, but you need of course NetBSD 5.0.

Did they fix the link? A month or so ago, before Q4 was released, the pkgsrc CVS (pkgsrc-current) wasn't updated, so it was trying to get Flash 9, but was getting the wrong stuff -- actually was getting nothing. I had to manually download the flash installer and update the makefile to get it locally.
After that, Firefox wouldn't work. This wasn't Flash's fault -- there was something messed up with the suse_compat so it wouldn't load Firefox without crashing. So, I never got to test Flash out.

Video works okay but there is a sound sync problem. You see the lips move in a video and a second later or so then you hear the voice. Looks like there might be a fix in current.

I ended up installing firefox3 and flash10. While the flash tests from the adobe site work, and their flash 10 promo video works -- it doesn't seem to work well elsewhere. It doesn't work on youtube and on other *tube sites, if it does come up, it cuts out after several seconds. *tube sites are about the only reason I contemplate using flash!
NetBSD 5.0 RC1 Firefox 3.0.5 Flash Player 10.0.0 d525

^An addendum to my previous post:
After reading some more, it appears that the procfs must be mounted. After mounting, the flash videos do work. It does appear to be a slight syncronization problem -- about an apparent 1/2 sec between video (first) and sound (second) on my system. Adding this to /etc/fstab will auto-mount procfs upon boot: Code:
procfs /proc procfs rw

Wine 1.0.1 + Firefox 3.0.5 + Flash seems to work. No issues at all.

No luck with Skype. It installs but crashes soon after when I try to type in my name. At least for me. I do not have a camera to test out the drivers. Sorry.

On bsd kernel they are rock stable including Skype (see my posts) but I could not get damn Linux audio to talk to OSS. |

Netbsd i386. I do not use OpenBSD. I was attempting to use Skype and Wine with no luck.

Wine is in OpenBSD ports more for historical reasons. Somebody was making noise on misc couple mounts ago that he would do necessary kernel work to get Wine compiling on OpenBSD. I haven't seen any code committed. |

Are you lost Oko? this person is asking a question about NetBSD.
