Default No bsd.mp after snapshot update today

During today's snapshot update (amd64) everthing seemed normal. When I rebooted, the usual sequence of messages appeared (no errors) but I was returned to the Boot prompt. I tried 3 different mirrors with the same result.

Eventually I tried booting from bsd.sp and that succeeded. I then saw that I had no bsd.mp.

I'm assuming this is a temporary glitch that will be rectified shortly. Should I report it?

I've just updated my amd64 system from a snapshot and bsd.mp was installed correctly, perhaps try again?

EDIT:
Code:
Puffy:~$ uname -a
OpenBSD Puffy.lan 6.4 GENERIC.MP#568 amd64
Puffy:~$ cat /etc/installurl

Yes, I found a more recent (2-hr) mirror and now the boot process works normally again. There still is no bsd.mp but I think I wouldn't expect it anyway since this is a 2-core single processor, Probably that wouldn't use bsd.mp?

No, 2-core processors would have two CPUs (cpu0, cpu1) and would normally have a GENERIC.MP kernel stored as /bsd, and the uniprocessor GENERIC kernel stored as /bsd.sp.

Edited to add: the only systems that would store a GENERIC.MP kernel as /bsd.mp would be uniprocessors. These systems store GENERIC as /bsd, and have no kernel file stored as /bsd.sp.

So the questions for acampbell would seem to be: Do you have a /bsd kernel file? And if so, can you boot it and does the dmesg say it's an MP kernel?

Problem known. Just wait for the next snaps.

Thanks to all for replies. After another update today everything worked as expected. I have both /bsd and /bsd.sp. The default seems to be /bsd, which gives both cpu cores in dmesg; booting with bsd.sp does not. I think I now understand the process better, which I'd not paid attention to properly previously.

If you have a multicore machine, /bsd.mp will be renamed /bsd.
That has nothing to do with the issue you reported.
