Default Sorting Packages

Hello,

Is there a way to sort and select packages based on user supplied criteria (besides the categories already provided)? For example, only showing those programs that do not require X to run.

Unless pkgsrc is a lot different then memory serves you might want to be a bit more descriptive, particularly 'sort and select'

Hello,

Basically, I want to take the pkgsrc repository and to be able to search through it and select packages based on certain criteria -

select and display all packages written in C;
select and display all packages that don't need X;
select and display all packages that have xyz-1.2 as a dependency.

You may benefit from the search capability provided at the following third-party site:

http://pkgsrc.se/

Between this, the provided description, & the CVS check-in history, you will likely be able to discern whatever you seek.
