Default Allow i386 and amd64 to boot from extended DOS partitions

That is what http://openbsd.org/plus.html says
"plus" yeah, next 4.4 wonder which major libc will have, my snapshot has libc.47, OpenBSD 4.7 ?
Thanks gawd, GENERIC has an enabled compat43 flag.

I noticed this on cvs@ recently, didn't say anything.. thought it might cause panic or something.

OpenBSD, libc, and the original BSD have separate version numbers, lvlamb.

It's just serendipity that they are currently similar.

OpenBSD is a 13 year old fork from NetBSD, which was based on 4.4BSD Lite. The COMPAT_43 is for binary compatibility with an even older Berkeley distribution.

4.4-beta (as of last night, anyway) is using libc.so.47.0; that number is also unrelated to the OpenBSD release numbers.

It's human nature to find patterns in things, in this case, jggimi is correct.

Oh! That is compat_43.
Got mixed-up in the numbers. Should have read more.
I did an test upgrade on a WS recently and I had both libc.43 and libc.45, hence "assumed" (assumptions are the mothers ...) this was related.

Re: version bump.
Wrote it as a joke aslo earlier. So much new code this Spring and Sunner.
