Smile Create a Ruby on Rails development environment

Hey guys,

What do you use as X11/Gui ? gnome ? xfce ?
Something like Atom/Sublime Text available ? Perhaps tmux + nevoim ?
Can you share your config ?

GUI - i3 (I find tiling WMs more functional than GUIs with a desktop paradigm.)

For terminal I like to use Sakura.

I am not a programmer, so mg and leafpad are sufficient for editing.

I'm not sure what GUIs and editors have to do necessarily with creating a Ruby on Rails development environment, but you might want to check this thread: http://daemonforums.org/showthread.php?t=1525

For ideas of what kinds of X environments you can make for yourself.
