Default firefox segfault in windowmaker and icewm

Oddly, firefox and claws-mail both have a segmentation fault when running under icewm or windowmaker. Neither has any problems if I use kde3 or kde4. There are no other messages than 'Segmentation fault'.

Is there a way of finding out what is missing with icewm that is present with kde?

kde finds one more recent or earlier installed than the other?

If you have x11-themes/gtk-qt-engine installed, try removing it.

If none of the above work out, I'll offer a WAS (wild a$% suggestion):

First export your bookmarks. Next, close firefox.

% mv ~/.mozilla ~/.mozilla.bad

Now reopen firefox and import your bookmarks. Still getting segfaults? (It's a zero analysis, big hammer method that frequently works for me.)

What CFLAGS are you using (in /etc/make.conf usually)?
