Dear All,

I'm issue command shutdown -p now and it causes the bios settings always falls back to default.

Why causes this error? How to resolve it? Thanks.

This is very unlikely to be the fault of any OS.

BIOS settings returning to default is commonly a hardware problem, such as due to a failed or failing CMOS backup battery.

Thanks for highlighting the cause of the problem. I'll replace the CMOS battery. Thanks a lot.
