Of course he has! You've seen some of the questions jggimi has fielded here. There is no way some of those questions could have been typed by something live...

Um.... no. But I do have some experience with practical small arms competition (Shotgun speedloaders require a good deal of practice, by the way.)

Can pepper spray be used to repel zombies?

I would prefer to use non-lethal deterrents (as a first resort).

Using non-lethal weapons again the undead would seem rather ... senseless.

Unless you can use the can of pepper spray as a decapitating projectile... the answer is no.

But seriously, if an actual zombie-like outbreak occurred.. I would prefer that zombie-me survived, don't chop my head off.

So, what's the deal with zombies - once you have killed the undead they are gone for good or will they die to rise another day?
Is death not final?

In at least one of my son's many zombie-battling video games -- it might have been one of the Evil Dead series -- you can shoot zombies all day with shotguns and handguns......and they keep coming at you, unless you manage to decapitate 'em or otherwise inflict massive damage. On the other hand, if you run out of ammo, you can kick them or slash at them with a knife. Apparently, grazing by a butter knife or being touched by leather cause immediate and sudden death.

In most movies, zombies are not dead.. they are undead.. living without consciousness.

Most zombies are depicted as having very little neurological activity, driven by a primordial urge to feed.. on humans.. brains.. or small rodents.

You kill them by targeting their heads..

I agree. It's a good thing zombies are not known to prey on their own kind.

I've always wondered with how the typical movie zombie is so basic in understanding, how do they tell the living from the undead?

Although I know plenty of stupid people that could blend in with a crowd of zombies unnoticed, I reckon a zombie probably smells worse lol.

In fiddling around with rsync, I just got this error message and burst out laughing at the error message:

Code:
terry@virtuous:~$ rsync -arz --links --safe-links --no-D -tx -e 'ssh -l Terry' --rsync-path='cd /srv/rsync/conf && /usr/local/bin/rsync' -n  --stats Terry@vectra::home /home/Terry
You don't exist, go away!
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes received so far) [receiver]
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(635) [receiver=3.0.3]
terry@virtuous:~$
and all this because the uid/gid were changed on virtuous without logging out first :-o

Looks like he should have been using the safari browser and gone to the opera, instead of the other way around.

This is targeted more toward Linux, but it's still mildly humorous.
