DHCPv6 PD and rtadvd
From my discussions with others, it looks like DHCPv6 PD is the standard replacement for DHCP with IPv6 between one's router and the ISP. My router runs OpenBSD and I currently have both SLAAC and DHCPv6 set up on it with a static prefix (a /48) from Hurricane Electric.
When I get a native IPv6 connection, I'm going to have to set up DHCPv6 PD with both rtadvd and DHCPv6 (currently WIDE-DHCPv6), but the documentation there is pretty sparse. Does anyone here know how set that up? |

Has anything changed in a month?

Few project developers frequent this site as most (regulars) are users, enthusiasts, & others interested in OpenBSD. I don't recall anyone professing using IPv6 yet, although there may be fledgling knowledge.
You may also want to consider searching the project's official misc@ mailing list, as this was discussed within the last six months. |

Hmm. The only relevant result I see in MARC's openbsd-misc results (I can't post the URL because I don't have enough posts here) is about having a static /48 prefix and using a single /64. I already have that working with Hurricane Electric, which doesn't help me if Comcast goes with DHCPv6 PD.
