Solaris has been patching Grub to boot from ZFS for a few years already. This article doesn't have much info in it. Does anybody know if the Solaris Grub patches were merged or does this news item just apply to non-native ZFS implementations? Good news on btrfs though. I am thinking of trying it when it stabilizes a litte more.
