Default dhcpd breaks server connections

Hi guys,

I have a problem where my dhcpd (isc-dhcp31-server-3.1.2p1_2) causes the server (itself) to loose all connections for few seconds every now and then (every 30 minutes or so). All services stops at that time, ssh connections times out, samba same thing (my music stops etc) and so on... If I disable dhcpd everything works perfectly fine. Any idea why might that happen?

Thanks in advance,
K.

I would suggest first upgrading to the latest port, 3.1.3_1.

Then I would enable logging to a separate file, to make it easier to check the log
