1. You are using a headphone socket.

2. Use FAQ 13 first.

Ok i have a "headphone socket"...what do i need to make it work properly? :/

All the inputs/outputs are unmuted if that's why you sent me to the FAQ.

I can't find something else relative in the FAQ with my issue. Can you be a little more specific if there's something that i missed? :/

I had the same problem. No sound from headphone jack. Connect headphone jack and press Fn+F5.

I'm glad you found the FAQ, sepuku. It wasn't clear that you'd used it.

I don't think I've ever seen a dmesg from you; you might review it to see if you are using an azalia(4) sound driver. If so, you will want to review that man page for the discussion of specific mixer control widgets, and then review the many misc@ discussions on azalia configurations (there are many) and headphone use. Some are discussed the long thread that begins here:

Well i think it's not an OBSD problem; i tried connecting my laptop with a bass amplifier and the sound work perfect!I think that in order to have the sound played from the TV i just need an aux cable! So i'm gonna try that and i will let you know.

Thanks to both of you once again for your help.

As i said to my previous post RCA cable was not the right cable; AUX cable was the one i needed.
