Problems with sound when connecting to TV
Hello people i' trying to connect my laptop to my TV in order to watch movies.I use a vga to vga for the video (which works great).And an audio RCA cable.Which is something like this:
http://www.frontx.com/pro/c216_042p2.gif Yet i get sound only from my laptop.Is there a special setting i need to do get the sound from the TV? I have a lenovo X60. Thanx in advance, Sepuku. |

I had the same problem. No sound from headphone jack. Connect headphone jack and press Fn+F5.

I don't think I've ever seen a dmesg from you; you might review it to see if you are using an azalia(4) sound driver. If so, you will want to review that man page for the discussion of specific mixer control widgets, and then review the many misc@ discussions on azalia configurations (there are many) and headphone use. Some are discussed the long thread that begins here:

Well i think it's not an OBSD problem; i tried connecting my laptop with a bass amplifier and the sound work perfect!I think that in order to have the sound played from the TV i just need an aux cable!So i'm gonna try that and i will let you know.
