Upgrading and rebuilding ALL packages/ports

Hi I wanted to:

#portmaster -af

to rebuild and upgrade everything on my 7.0 system. Is this generally an ok thing to do or am I likely going to face some dependency/instability issues by doing so? All feedback welcome.
