Default Automatic Thread Subscription When Posting?

Hello,

Why am I not automatically subscribed to a thread when I post to it?

Hello,

I had to click the default subscription option in my profile > edit options page.

And I thought I had search all that stuff before I posted this. Don't I feel sheepish.

I don't think it's been working for me. I'll have to check my profile again. (Or maybe I forgot to click save changes, we old folks have memory problems.)

Nope, I'm supposed to get instant notification and it hasn't been happening. Hrrm, or maybe no one has posted anything in a thread that I'm on since I did that)

Thread subscription works for me, I didn't try the email feature though, I'll try it later..

Yes, it's working for me now too. So, I'll assume that I only put it into action after some posts were already answered. <shrug>
(I bet it wasn't working and he quickly fixed it.)

haha, now I know why the BSDForums' admin is so reluctant to return to his forums

Anyway, instant e-mail notification works fine for me too...
