Cups + Netbsd = pstoraster failed
Been trying to get cups working on my system. Installed cups, ghostscript (with cups option enabled), and gutenprint, foomatic-ppds, and foomatic-ppds-cups. When I try to clean my printer heads or print i get the error /usr/pkg/libexec/cups/filter/pstoraster failed every time. When I switch over to a foomatic driver or stcolor I get foomatic-rip failed. Seems that something is not talking because pstoraster is on my system and is installed when I installed ghostscript. I am using current pkgsrc and 5.0_beta on an i386 machine. The printer is parallel port Epson Color Stylus 600. Any ideas? I followed the wiki and that did not help either. Any ideas?

I downgraded pkgsrc to the 2008Q4 set and now it works. Whatever changed in current seems to have broke it. Guess I need to submit a problem report.

Don't submit it to CUPS, they'll just blame it on someone else.
