Default mk.conf not found

In pkgsrc 2009Q2 is missing and i cannot find it how would i go about creating one?

On most default installations of the *BSD family, mk.conf does not exist. The reason is that for most, the default setting already found in the pkgsrc tree are sufficient. If you need to modify what compiler settings will be used in building packages, create mk.conf yourself; it is nothing more than a text file.
