When I started using FreeBSD Introduction to C Shell Programming proved a valuable resource.

There is also this, it does not cover scripting but it has decent information on using it as a shell

It is old.I think the only real usage change since that book was published is setting "autorehash" (which I do not use, but many people like that setting). I still have my old copy from back then and found quite helpful when switched over.
