Default UPDATING says rebuild all gettext !! HowSoEver; READ yes REPLY maybe just wait

after rebuilding gettext and m4 and libtool15 and automake110,
ldd bash
ldd X
still each are fine and work
.................
UPDATING says rebuild all gettext.
................
Either that comes later, is is not any longer
necc., or ... just a minor version bump and/or.
................
maybe if UPDATING is revised in the next few days before
a poss. change in gettext I can delete this post !!!
....................

Could you please rephrase the question in English?

sorry.
.............
before when UPDATING said to bump all gettext ports, it was because
apps would not work after the gettext bump (IIRC)
this time, UPDATING suggests to bump all gettext ports despite (here
at least) they still work without the minor version bump (X, bash for
example)
..............
so maybe UPDATING should be rephrased?
............
I meant this not as a question though, just as a heads-up just
in case ports do not have to be bumped, it would save
some people hours of updating work. So that they would
delay the upgrade until after it is known if they still really need it
or not.

pkg_libchk says everything is ok without updating. But I completely reinstalled FreeBSD so I don't have to mess around with updating.

freebsd-ports had/has a thread where it was surmised that a change/upgrade
to the port infrastructure might make it possible to (maybe next time,
inferred) determine which of the thousands *actually* need port version
bumps (only a subset actually do in this case, of those that had the
version numbers bumped) "as of now there is no easy way to tell them
apart" if I read it correctly
