different booting bsd.rd & bsd
Hi.
I have littel problem with SiS drivers on openbsd. When i boot bsd.rd, USB, audio, works. When i use (affter installing) bsd, usb will no be finded sis0 at pci0 dev 1 function 1 "SiS 900 10/100BaseTX" rev 0x82: couldn't map interrupt ohci0 at pci0 dev 1 function 2 "SiS 5597/5598 USB" rev 0x07: couldn't map interrupt ohci1 at pci0 dev 1 function 3 "SiS 5597/5598 USB" rev 0x07: couldn't map interrupt autri0 at pci0 dev 1 function 4 "SiS 7018 Audio" rev 0x02autri0: couldn't map interrupt How to fix it? bsd.rd works good. It could be the ACPI implementation on your motherboard. At the boot> prompt, enter "-c", which will allow you to access the User Kernel Configurator. At the UKC> prompt, enter:
disable acpiThe boot_config(8) man page has more details. If that solves your problem, make the change to /bsd by using config(8): # config -euf /bsd |
