Default FreeBSD 6 Unleashed

I bought this book a couple months ago and it is a great book to learn the FreeBSD operating system. It teaches how to install a complete desktop system with FreeBSD and also teaches ALOT on how to administer your FreeBSD machine keeping your system as stable as possible. I definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in learning FreeBSD.

Someone gave me a free copy of this book and so far I have found it to be really helpful. I also highly recommend it especially to anyone just getting started with FreeBSD.

The brief introduction of the book at the back says the below.
Quote:
FreeBSD Unleashed includes complete coverage of everything you need to know to use freebsd to its fullest potential. It shows individuals how to exploit and put to use the same FreeBSD power that some of the worlds's largest internet sites have found so reliable. Whether you need an enterprise class server, a small business server, or a dependable workstation, this book provides powerful solutions to your most demanding needs.
This is a very good book. If you are a beginner and thinking of buying one book on freebsd this should be it.
