Xorg sluggishness
My system: 7.0-RELEASE #0
Hardware: Dell Optiplex GX270 Hello, since I installed a few Xorg and graphics card driver updates a few weeks ago my desktop has become very sluggish, I don't know whether its Xorg or the graphics driver but the drawing of objects on screen and minimising and restoring windows is now very slow and it wasn't like this before I updated the Xorg and driver related ports. Is this to do with the gettimeofday() issue that FreeBSD had/has with Xorg? See below for my hardware and installed ports details: Graphics Card: vgapci0@pci0:0:2:0: class=0x030000 card=0x01511028 chip=0x25728086 rev=0x02 hdr=0x00 vendor = 'Intel Corporation' device = '82865G Integrated Graphics Device' class = display Display Driver xf86-video-intel-2.2.1 Xorg Server/library version xorg-libraries-7.3_2 X.org libraries meta-port xorg-server-1.4_8,1 X.Org X server and related programs |
