KDE (X-Server) in FreeBSD 7.0 doesn't work correctly
Hello to all,
I would like to use FreeBSD 7.0 amd64 (so 64bit), but I have problems with KDE interface. When I start this interface, all works successfully but not for long time. The whole operating system gets into deadlock - only my mouse is still moveable. This situation is the same situation as by LiveFS. Have anybody met with the same problem? I thought that this problem depends on FreeBSD 7.0 but this problem appears in DesktopBSD 1.6 (with FreeBSD 6.3) too. My PC configuration is Athlon X2 6000+, M3A32 MVP, 4GB RAM (800MHz), NX6200TC-TD128ELF. I think that my graphic card (MSI 6200 TurboCache without original NVidia driver) can be the cause of the problem with X-Server deadlock - but I can't resolve this problem without original x64 NVidia driver  Thank you for your ideas and suggestions.
