Default remove dependencies

I have pkg_del (eted) a package that has many dependencies. Is there a way to remove the dependencies that are anymore necessary ?

man pkg_delete


The options are as follows:

-a Delete unused dependencies (packages that are not needed by
anything tagged as installed manually). Can be used without
pkgnames. If used with pkgnames, it will only delete non manual
installs in the list.
