Default Help with procmail

I am using nmh to read mail and am trying to get procmail to work.

Given the following incoming email header:

Date: Fri, 27 Dec 2019 12:30:04 +0000
To: stanl@address.hidden
From: NYR Daily: Antwaun Sargent <stanl@address.hidden>

And the following pprocmail recipe:

:0 :NYR$LOCKEXT
* ^From:.*NYR
| rcvstore +nyreview/.

Why does the procmail log give:

procmail: No match on "^From:.*NYR"

Thanks for any assistance.

Try:
Code:
^From:.-NYR
or
Code:
^From:[.]-NYR
