Default Printing. The final frontier.

I've been using OpenBSD for five or six years, as my primary home OS, as a web server (in production! for money!), and as a Subversion repository server.

And I confess. I have *never* gotten a printer to work. I use Windows to do that.

I have tried CUPS. I have tried LPD. I have tried apsfilter. I have tried foomatic. I have tried smbclient to Windows XP. And all of them, in their documentation, have left me with the impression that there is something very important to printing that the authors assume that I understand perfectly and therefore do not need to discuss.

Help.
