Default Adding new fonts to system

Hello,
I would like to find and add new fonts to my system.
How to accomplish that? Is there any description how to
do that, even for Gnu/Linux if this is similar?

There are console fonts and Xorg fonts. OpenBSD also has many font packaged up: Openports Font Packages.

There are extra founts on the package mirrors under the title Fonts, as well as several in Input Systems, which of course require installing an input system. Adding these is a simple pkg_add ... If you want to add your own:
1) Create a directory in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts, with whatever name you want.
2) Add your founts to that new directory.
3) Then run
Code:
# /usr/X11R6/bin/fc-cache -v
I wish I could give you a link to the source of that information, but I do not remember where I found it.
