Same here, and actually none of the shift+ options worked.
And, if I use the console, for example via ssh, it freezes when I try to open a text file.
I don't think it is a good option for use on a console,

That does not sound very convenient, or nice, on noice. Thanks, for mentioning it though. Actually when I am using ssh , to a server I really prefer to just use the CLI, faster and easier then any of the file managers I have tried, the nnn, and also the ranger, you mentioned earlier in another topic, bith were new names to me, so I figured I would give them a try.

and they are still developing it
ahh, ok, well maybe some of the feed back will be use full. That is why I commented, about having the same problem with the keys not doing anything ,

Pressing space doesn't do anything on my system.
,...
MC (MidnightCommander) works pretty well, even via ssh, but I don't use it normally either. I guess that should be another topic though.

I don't like Linux much, but I do keep a Debian version on a VM, and decided to install nnn on that, interesting to see, the space key, and also the "shift + x", for example worked fine, also the ^O , (Open with ---) worked good on the Linux VM, when I accessed it via ssh,...apparently the OpenBsd version of nnn needs some work. Or some hoops to jump through.

Check if you have any dependencies missing

Thanks, it does look like I am missing a couple of dependencies based on that list. When I get a chance I will see if they make a difference.
