Default syspatch appears to get stuck

If I run syspatch it doesn't exit and return a command prompt, it just appears to get stuck. syspatch -c behaves the same way, while syspatch -l works.

Is there anything I can do to see why it is getting stuck?

Using -l does not use your network. -c or no option uses the website named in your /etc/installurl file. Check that, and review the installurl(5) man page if needed.
