That GNU guy is Ian Debian, I mean Ian Mardock, the Debian creator, It would be better if BSD guy would take care of that but Sun wanted Solaris to be more Linux like ufortunelly.

SXDE was nothing more then SXCE, no any addons, it was just released on sum.com also and avialable for free shipping, so we propably did not lost anything here while we earned OpenSolaris 2008.05/11.

I tried Nexenta, but apt-get seems to not work for xorg so I also abandoned it, maybe it will get better after NexentaCore 2.x Hackathon ends.
