P5KPL-E LAN drivers
Hi,
I'm trying to set up a fairly cheap personal server and got myself two Asus P5KPL-E motherboards of a friend. Whole installation went smooth and I thought everything would be just as easy. But then I noticed the onboard network dont show up. I've been searching around but havn't found anything helpful. So I'm woundering if any of you have any idea about what I could do to solve this. The chipsets are Intel G31 Intel ICH7 and I've only found this about the network; "PCIe Gigabit LAN controller featuring AI NET2". I guess I could smack in an external card but I really want to avoid that if possible (since its a 2U rack chassi). /e Ah yes, I'm using Freebsd 7.0 /e2 Just found out its a "Atheros(R) L1 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter" Last edited by Qimen; 12th July 2008 at 05:08 PM. |
