Default Patch question

My apologies if I seem to be spamming the board. This post is a legitimate question.
On the G3, I entered the /usr/ports/www/libxul/work/mozilla/xpcom/reflect/xptcall/src/md/unix and the error in building is
Code:
XPTCall not implemted on this platform.
I reenter the /usr/ports/www/libxul/files and try gmake, make, autoconf, and automake and the input files are missing. Using ls and grep shows no file specific to powerpc.
Okay, now, how do I patch when it seems that a patch isn't available?
The reason I am asking this here is because maybe an Open BSD or NetBSD example will help me. if not, move it to the proper place.
My apologies and thanks.
