HexChat broke after syspatch

Hi, I'm running OpenBSD 6.6 with xfce4 desktop
Today I ran the syspatch command and after reboot HexChat broke.
The network selection page works, but when I select a network and press 'connect' nothing happens.
It worked absolutely fine before syspatch.
Do you know what's the cause of it?

You can try try:

pkg_add -u

to see if some packages were changed.

Errata patches do not change interfaces or eliminate existing functions. Most likely, whatever problem you are experiencing is network related and not patch related. Test your connection to the remote IRC server/servers with ping(8). If that fails, you can test with traceroute(8) to see where along the network route your connections fail.


If ping(8) is successful and you still cannot connect to the IRC servers, please let us know which patches were installed during your most recent syspatch procedure. You can check the dates of the directories in /var/syspatch/* to determine which patches were installed recently.

I also have connectivity issues with hexchat on a fully patched version of OpenBSD 6.6 and XFCE. I did not investigate further and moved on to irssi.
