Default tftp logs

How do you enable tftp logs? I'm running the built in tftp server I enabled it through inetd. I know it works because I'm running asterisk and the cisco phone boots. But I have another one that doesn't and I want to look at the tftp logs but there is no log /var/log/ftp. Do I have to something special to enable logging?

You know, you would save yourself (and us) a lot of time by reading man pages.. they "do" contain useful information.
