Here's my Gateway/Acer clone running FreeBSD 11.0-RELEASE-p9 with Fluxbox, Eterm, Xfe, Gkrellm2 and XMMS:

And my trusty 10 year old Sony Vaio running it,too:

I rebuilt all three of my FreeBSD laptops last night with FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE:

I haven't encountered any problems or quirks with the new release.

Me neither. I'd been running RC-3 on a couple. On a desktop that had been running 11.0, I did an upgrade with buildworld and all seems fine, except that the synth port won't build. I've seen a bug opened for it which I can't find right now.

You use plain ol' ash as your shell in FreeBSD? I didn't know people did that...
You definitely will earn some respect points from some of my old sysadmin buddies.

My new Thinkpad T61 running a fresh build of FreeBSD 11.1-RELEASE-p1. The 4th laptop I have running it, the other running OpenBSD 6.1.
