PowerPC is being developed as high-performance platform for high-performance servers. It is usually used in more capital Intensive use cases than x86/amd64 and not in semi-mobile use cases like laptops.

But the PowerPC architectures for OpenBSD are only the Apple New World systems (macppc) and the Freescale SoC systems (socppc).

The Raspberry Pi 3 appears to be one of the targets for the new arm64 architecture mentioned previously.

The architecture, and the web page, are both still in development.

It can play 1080p movies on original Mac OS locally, but using all system resources and power consumption above 300 Watts... Quite a lot of electric power to play videos... It can not play Youtube HD and even 480p videos in web browser. There were problems witch Debian installation. Since Debian 9, Debian would not have official PowerPC(Mac) release.

I have just noticed an arm64 folder in my OpenBSD mirror:

The developers have been using PINE64 boards, apparently.
