Default Bus error (core dumped) doing cvsup

I have up untill recently been able to do cvsup np's at all, now all of a
sudden it core dumps, any thoughts welcome..

Bus error (core dumped)

Which version of FreeBSD are you using?
Which version of CVSup are you using?
Did you try using csup(1)?

Default core dump

FreeBSD 6.3-RELEASE FreeBSD 6.3-RELEASE #0: Wed Jan 16 01:43:02 UTC 2008 root@palmer.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/SMP amd64

cvsup-without-gui-16.1h_4

running csup as we speak an so far it appears to be working aok.

csup is a rewrite of cvsup in C, and is fully compatible.
It is also included in FreeBSD base since FreeBSD 6.2 ... So you don't need to install cvsup anymore.

Well it ran aok, now running portupgrade etc ..

Other issue is when i try to mount my NTFS hdd i kepe getting error of Incorrect Super Block ... it's assigned ad1 in dmesg .. am i mounting it wrong or ??

I suspect you used the wrong device name ... start a new thread, with the mount command you used and the output fdisk(8) for that disk (i.e. fdisk /dev/ad0).
