Default reset the password of a non-admin user under the Gnome

Hi,
I have a quad core Q6600 (32 bits) under OpenBSD 6.0, I lost the password of my classic user, I have my password super user.
I use as window manager Gnome corresponding to the version of operating system.

How to reset the password of a non-admin user under the Gnome environment?

If you can login as root you can use passwd(1) to change the password of your 'classic' user.

I understand, I log in with the VT320 console [ctrl + alt + F (x) - (1 <x <7)] and applied the command :
Code:
passwd user
in order to change my user classic but Gnome authentication is refuse!
how can I reach the configuration files of the classic users?

I don't use Gnome either, but that should not matter, any way, Did you run the command as root, you must be root, login as root, to run that command, Example:
Code:
parrot$ su
Password:

parrot# passwd garry
Changing password for garry.
New password:
Where is says "user" needs to be the username,of the user that you want to change the password.
