Default Hello from an experienced newbie

Hi. I'm new to Daemon Forums, but not necessarily to Unix. I first started using Linux in 1999, but kept distro-hopping because I never found a distribution that felt right. I also found that many Linux communities have become toxic over the years for various reasons.

I've been keeping an eye on the OpenBSD project for years because of their reputation for consistently developing a well-engineered system, and a couple of weeks ago I decided to listen to the voice in my head that kept singing, "I want my... I want my... I want my BSD" and took the plunge with the 6.2 release.

Now I'm here. Maybe I can help, but I'm mainly here to learn. I've managed reasonably well thus far using OpenBSD instead of Linux in a desktop/laptop environment where I mess around on the web, deal with email, rip CDs and play music, and use Emacs to write and code. However, being my own sysadmin doesn't make me the equal of pros who admin dozens or hundreds of machines for a living.
