Default byzanz for OpenBsd 6.0

Hello ,
I can not find "Byzanz" in the packages for OpenBsd 6.0

I do find it here : http://ftp.su.se/pub/OpenBSD/5.0/packages/i386/

Do you think it would work in 6.0 ?
I know I could just try it, but if just plain won't work,....does any one know.

Thanks

It was removed for OpenBSD 5.1. The log states:
Quote:
remove byzanz, this hasn't seen a real release in a while
and recordmydesktop does a better job at it anyway.

No, I don't.
  1. Packages require that all needed libraries -- both included and 3rd party -- are installed and available. Your 6.0 system would have had to have been upgraded in sequence from 5.0, and you would have had to retain all required third party libraries from 5.0 packages all the while. Note that at 5.0, this was Gnome 2, and you are running Gnome 3.
  2. There was a major ABI change in 2013, implemented with OpenBSD 5.4. No pre-5.4 packages could remain installed.

Thanks again.
I didn't really think it could work either, but I did go ahead and try on a VM,
and no it does not, not even close.

I am still looking into the "record my desktop", but all I really need or
want is to make a .gif animation , I don't need a "video", with sound, etc.
