Short answer:
You don't, the archive is gone.

Long answer:
Locate and contact the bsdforums.org administrator and ask him to publish/transfer the archives.
Note that previous atttempts to do this have failed.

Use the whois(1) information, note that sending emails and faxes is a futile exercise since I don't think anyone ever got a response that way.

You may be able to find threads via Google's cache, or perhaps by using the Internet Way Back Machine.

Good luck with that. If we (the moderators of the old forums) couldn't find him/get a hold of him for over a year, don't expect to be able to find him right away. If at all.

It's gone, out of commission.. fate: unknown.

The solutions phoenix provided are the only ones, this forum is in no way formally associated with the old bsdfourms.

Nobody here has your posting history, there was only 1 administrator at that old site, and he disappeared.

Sorry.

Your chances of getting ahold of BSDForums' Administrator are slim at best, & given that we abandoned the site, finding him in a charitable mood such that he would take his time to dig up any posts you may want is slimmer still.

I would not be surprised if he hasn't destroyed all remnants of BSDForums, however, that is conjecture on my part.

Yes, there was useful information found on that site, but the Administrator there was less than forthcoming or even actively involved with the site for more than its last year of existence. This is the primary reason that this site was started -- the Administrator there simply was not to be found, nor did he want to be contacted. This is firsthand information.

So although your request isn't necessarily out of line, the chances of you being able to get a human being to respond are essentially nil.

For better or worse, BSDForums is gone. Period.

I guess I wasn't visiting the old bsdforums very often, I've just learned of this! Bizzare.

Nice to see familiar "faces" still around - if Phoenix is here, all must be well here.
